This course is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of four of the most popular and versatile programming languages - C, C++, Java, and Python. Students will learn the fundamental principles of computer programming and how to write, test, and debug software applications using these four languages. The course begins with an introduction to the C programming language, covering topics such as data types, control structures, functions, arrays, pointers, and structures. The course then moves on to C++, which is an extension of C and includes concepts such as classes, object-oriented programming, and templates. Next, students will explore Java, which is an object-oriented programming language used widely in web-based applications and enterprise software development. This section of the course covers topics such as classes, objects, inheritance, exceptions, and collections. Finally, students will learn about Python, a high-level programming language that is easy to learn and widely used in scientific computing, data analysis, and web development. This section of the course covers topics such as data types, control structures, functions, modules, and file I/O. Throughout the course, students will get hands-on experience by completing coding exercises and projects that will help them develop the skills needed to write professional-quality software applications in each of the four languages. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in computer programming and be able to write code in C, C++, Java, and Python.
